Kim Kardashian Is Ready To Tone Down On Her Overtly Sexual Presentation Due To The New Kanye & White House Experience

Reality star Kim Kardashian, wife of Christian rapper Kanye West and likely equally as famous for her in-your-face sexual style, says that her husband and her experience at the White House has emboldened her to tone down her look and dress more conservatively.

What about the new look?
Kardashian — who, in addition to starring in “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” earned a fair bit of fame for her lurid 2007 sex tape, “Kim Kardashian Superstar” — is turning her back on showing off every possible square inch of her body just shy of going completely nude.

In a new interview with New York Magazine’s The Cut, Kardashian says that West, a new Christian, has become increasingly uncomfortable with her bare-all look and has voiced his opposition to public nudity and form-fitting clothing.

“I don’t know if it’s the fact that my husband has voiced that sometimes too sexy is just overkill and he’s not comfortable with that,” she explained. “I listen to him and understand him. Still, at the end of the day, he always gives me the freedom to be and do what I want.”

During a recent airing of her hit reality show, West told his wife that her skin-tight dress for a recent event was too much and that her showing so much skin has impacted his heart and soul.

The 39-year-old reality star also says that her work at the White House has played a role in her decision, as well as the fact that she now has four children to raise and cultivate into respectable human beings.

“I have kind of had this awakening myself. I realized I could not even scroll through Instagram in front of my kids without full nudity coming up on my feed pretty much all the time,” she told the outlet. “And I definitely contributed to that. I mean, one of my most iconic covers was the Paper magazine one, when I was all oiled up and ripping my dress off.”

“I also did think, like, ‘Okay, I’m here in the White House,’ and then the next day I was posting, like, a crazy bikini selfie,” she added. “And I was thinking, ‘I hope they don’t see this. I have to go back there next week.'”

Focusing on things that make her happy
With age comes wisdom, according to Kardashian, who also declared that she has evolved to a point where she wants to focus on things that make her truly happy.

“I think I’m evolving to where I don’t feel the need to want to keep up,” she explained. “Not that I did it to feel like I had to keep up, but I guess I just don’t care as much anymore to want to take tons of photos in a thong bikini. I actually just want to lay out.”

She admitted that she’s beginning to view life experiences as more than just marketing angles and money-making opportunities.

“I don’t care to take the time out of my day on vacation like I used to, where I’d pull up to the house and I’d see, ‘This is a setup. This is an Instagram pic. Now this is a different setup. Oh, this place has so many different setups. This is going to be amazing,'” she admitted. “Now I’m just like, ‘Let’s actually live in real time and enjoy it. If we happen to get a photo, great.'”
