Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 319 I have been going through my wardrobe, shoe rack plus looking at my things i have already worn in pictures and wondering if i should throw everything out and purchase new things until I came across these 7 lessons from Ashleigh ( fashion consultant) and I have been learning the trick of the maximizing trade so well that i figured i will not buy new things but re-create my wardrobe. I hope This will help you as it has helped me. What Does maximizing Mean? How frustrating is it for you to know you have a closet full of clothes, but still can not piece things together to create stylish outfits? And then to be faced with this every-single-day. You’re probably over it and just taking the easy route: wearing the same type of outfits, again and again, without adding anything differently. Maximizing is like the cure to all evil that lies within your wardrobe. Maximizing helps to solve these issues and presents you with new and MORE options that you would have never thought of before. As I always say, “Maximizing starts from within,” which may confuse people if they do not know what maximizing means, and how to apply that towards their wardrobe. Maximizing is all about using the clothes that you have, to create more outfits, surrounding the same pieces, but styled differently each time. This falls down to your styling abilities, not about having a certain amount of garments. Don’t freak out if styling is not your strongest suit, because there is always a way to learn, and a way for me to teach you. I USE to be that person, that constantly shopped (non-stop), buying new items so I could have “new” outfits. Not once, did I ever stop to think, spend less and shop from within, nor did I care. Yes, you’ll create new outfits and have more clothing options, but what about maximizing? Taking this route, only leads to you minimizing what’s inside your wardrobe, basically, wasting tons of money. Why not learn how to re-purpose your garments, in a way, where you’re creating new outfits surrounding the same pieces. Now, I always hear: “You have so many clothes, I never see you in the same thing.” Exactly, but this is so wrong! I will never be about: (1) Buying for a one time wear, or (2) Buying to never wear, ever again. I repeat things ALL the time, you just may not notice because it is styled in a different way. Maximizing is being able to take the garments and items you already have and multiplying the size of your wardrobe, by restyling, re-purposing, and recycling them to create new outfits. Maximizing is about being able to style your clothes so that they work for you, no matter the occasion or event. No matter if you feel they are too dressy, or too casual, when you maximize you can style a garment or item to appear more dressier, or more casual. Allow your wardrobe to cater to YOU. Simply put: it’s your way of making the most of your money, doubling the size of your wardrobe, creating new outfits, and not having to spend a dollar to pull it off. Maximizing is all about shopping from within! xx, Ashleigh If you know someone that can benefit from learning how to get the most out of their wardrobe, and interested in learning how to save money + double the size of their wardrobe, I would love for you to share this with them! african fashionafrican womenAshlieghfashionMaximizingplus sizeplussizestylingStylistthedaileightipswardrobe Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail maame Pr Manager for FashionGHANA.
