The contestant who represented Yamoussoukro as Miss Yamoussoukro was giving the title on a very heated competitive night. Despite the rejoice by the public, it was very well expected she will scoop the title according to many. The very pretty Olivia Yace was also faced with other very beautiful contestants, however, her already existing popularity, social media following, and public appearances already had many believing she would win and respectively, she did. Olivia Yacé, now Miss Cote d’Ivoire 2021 carries the 8th crown won by the Ivorien state Yamoussoukro making it the first region of the nation to win the title three years in a row following that of Tara Gueye, Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2019, Marilyne Kouadio, Miss Ivory Coast 2020, and now Olivia Yacé, Miss Ivory Coast 2021.
