One renowned and tremendously talented designer that has emerged from the creeks of the Ugandan fashion industry goes by the name of Mshona. Despite the struggling ventures, semi-professional small-scale production, and lack of infrastructure, institutions and government support, Mshona has managed to sustain one of the nations best fashion brands.

This year 2022, founder of Mshona, Alice Atuheire took to expand the brand beyond the borders of East Africa breaking grounds by making her first step in Ghana, West Africa. In their works to go international, the team decided to execute the latest fashion collection at the just ended Accra Fashion Week 2022.

The brand exhibited their latest fashion collection dubbed ‘Sisterhood’ a stunning array of monochrome black and white fashion designs encompassed with extrodinary sophistication serving a glimpse of 70’s French fashion.
