There is no denying nothing compliments an afrobeat music video than that of African beautiful ladies in well designed African print looks. Well, one such video has recently dropped on our radar. This time it’s not from any of the pop stars in the afrobeat scene we have grown accustomed to. A new artist by the name of Praise Kusi has just entered the scene with his latest song ‘Black Melanin’. The song depicts a young man singing about his admiration for a particular lady, no real relation to melanin nor skin color. However, just like Burna Boys ‘Gbona’, or Fuse ODG’s ‘African Girl’, or when Run Town first dropped ‘Mad Over You’ and even more recently Patoranking’s ‘Lenge Lenge’, we caught nostalgia watching the well-styled beautiful models parading around in amazing African print clothes in his video. There is no denying we can credit Praise Kusi for that and also a fairly beautiful song. We look forward to hearing and seeing more from this Nigerian star. See the video below.
