He took a long break from Hip Hop and came back with a tearfully beautiful song ‘Ultra Black’ that serves mind blowing thoughts with each lyrics. The son of jazz musician Olu Dara, Nas has released twelve studio albums since 1994, with seven of them certified platinum and multi-platinum in the US, but went on air to acclaim his new album ‘The Kings Diseaese’ is his best body of work, and his first single proves this. The song Ultra Black is a beautiful admiration of being black. In such tensed times with racial division and abuse, most would expect a racially heated or heavy thought process song from the legendary rap artist. Instead he dodged the ball and gave us something to celebrate our essense, touching on almost every cultural steriotype from hair, to skin tone, to pants sagging, to music, you name it.
