Ths May was a great way for the team behind FashionGHANA to celebrate 10 years of pushing promoting Ghanaian & African fashion as our CEO and Founder Nana Addo Tamakloe (of FashionGHANA.com) was honored in Memphis and congratulated by the Ghana Ambassador to USA Hajia Alima Mahama.

The Memphis In May festival celebrates a different country each year and chose to celebrate Ghana this year. Guests included Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Otumfuo, Okyeame Kwame, and more. The festival celebrated Ghanaian music, royalty, food, fashion and more.

For the fashion installment, the festival hosted a champagne brunch on the 8th May dubbed ‘Kente to Kitenga’ fashion show which featured a fashion show by brands Style By Magbrien, Red Cotton Boutique, FashionGHANA.shop and Broots Fashion.

The night also honored the founder of FashionGHANA.com and Accra Fashion Week Nana Addo Tamakloe for his works in promoting and developing Ghana Fashion and culture. See all images below of the moment he met Honorable Hajia Alima Mahama.
