In an interview, the Designer revealed that fashion should be given a boost because it contributes to the growth of the Nigerian economy. As far as she’s concerned, fashion plays a major role in the economy and if the government takes it seriously by investing in, it’ll yield results.

She emphasised on the need for government to invest in the fashion industry to make the sector grow and create more jobs. The well respected Nigerian Designer pointed out significantly, “Nigerians love fashion” and with more investments, the fashion industry will rise. She said making platforms available for young Nigerians to get involved in the business opportunities that are available in the fashion industry in Nigeria would help provide more jobs.

Whiles being interviewed Lanre Da Silva stated categorically that fashion is a better investment for the nation than football has been.
