Nigerian Designer Lanre Da Silva Previewed her Spring Summer 2015 Collection in Milan

The Nigerian designer made it clear about the inspiration behind this collection. Lanre Da Silva said “I draw inspiration for the collection from the famous Olumo Rock, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nigeria that sits in the ancient city center of Abeokuta – a name which means ‘under the rock’ – which is the largest city and capital of Ogun state in Southwest Nigeria. The fashion brand is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

 
It was at the Palazzo Morando in Milan which was made perfect by Vogue Talent – an establishment which creates opportunities for designers in Africa and other parts of the world to showcase their talents to an international audience.

The SS 15 collection is also known as Rock Delight simply because of the inspiration behind it. The use of African Fabrics is trending in Africa now, any such designs with the touch of an African print makes it delightful. Actually, the collection revolves around creativity and style, which has been characterising her designs all this while. The women’s lable is serving in the interest of fashionistas across the world especially those who’re in Africa.
