Nigerian designer, Amaka Osakwe is out with a cruising ready to wear couture which is feminine and stylish. The fashion lable, Maki-Oh is based in Nigeria and has a huge reputation of designing beautiful outfits for women.

 
Recently the designer was privilaged to be invited as a guest for Michelle Obama’s Celebration of Design Event. It tells you about her style of designing and how famous she’s in Nigeria.

The collection which she refers to as “most serious” tells a story about a woman who is free spirited and has the ability to make her own decisions.

It’s a mixture of color and vibrance, filled with rich cotton and dense mesh. Layers of African print fabrics were nicely used to create a pattern for some of the pieces, enjoy as you go through the lookbook.
