Tattoos, a form of body modification where a design is made by inserting ink, dyes and pigments, either indelible or temporary, into the dermis layer of the skin to change the pigment. All of which many execute to uphold their everlasting strong beliefs, or symbolize their dearest love, or share a part of their character, or even just admiration for art.

But even if the reason for the tattoo doesn’t fade, the tattoo itself will, after years and years have gone by. This is the experience American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, recently shared with her social media fans.

The songwriter, television personality, and actress. Born in Manhattan and raised in The Bronx, New York City, she became an internet celebrity after several of her posts and videos became popular on Vine and Instagram.

Prior to all of this, she had a peacock tattoo drawn on her hip. According to her, this was executed 10 years ago. However, just as with anything else, it fades with time and she decided to have a makeover of the tattoo courtesy of tattoo artist @jamie_schene.

The tattoo makeover didn’t just enhance the already drawn artwork that was now almost hard to see, but a whole new and improved recreation of the singers peacock. The ‘Money Moves’ singer was quick to let her fans see the before and after image on her hip below.
