PICTURES: See What Went On At The 1st Ever Edition Of Style Lounge

Following the launch of the Mercedes Benz African Fashion Festival 2016 which took place on the night of 1st July, was the Style Lounge by Debonare Afrik. A workshop style session focused on various issues pertaining to the fashion industry. The audience were flattered with words by the guest speakers.

 

Miss Ngozi Dickson who tackled the business of fashion, touching mainly on entrepreneurship among stakeholders and the importance of branding. Next was Miss Chris Kata who is always fashionably dressed took to the platform to address feminine style and selecting style according to the theme. With the first part being done, the ever sensational Ekow Mclean entertained all those seated with his season lines of spoken word.

This ushered in the third speaker, the CEO of Abrantie The Gentleman whose educative presentation touched on a very sensitive issue which most of the participants could relate to .He briefed us on Masculine Styling and Grooming .The industry cannot look down upon the artistic and makeup artistry thus Miss Alexandra touched on them, giving a fair idea of what it looks like as well as what it entails. Miss Stefania Manfreda, the last to speak highlighted on the concept of fashion merchandise and fashion stores. Naa Adjerley our trend caster drew the curtains down by giving us a gist of what is trending in the fashion world.
