Rihanna Pays Tribute To The Late André Leon Talley By Rocking His Signature Sleeping Bag Coat At The Super Bowl

Rihanna’s 2nd pregnancy reveal is by far the headlines of the Super Bowl, even more popular than the game itself.

However, the 34 year old Barbadian songstress also did something remarkable with her style on the stage. She paid stylish tribute to late Vogue editor André Leon Talley, who died in January 2022 at the age of 73.

Rihanna slipped on a floor-sweeping red leather Alaïa puffer that bore a striking resemblance to Talley’s signature sleeping bag coat whilst launching into her smash hit “Umbrella”.

Talley’s official Instagram page marked the moment by posting photos of the likeminded looks, along with some choice “Umbrella” lyrics: “When the sun shines, we’ll shine together. Told you I’ll be here forever… said I’ll always be your friend.”
