PRESS RELEASE: Arguably one of the most anticipated events on the Ghanaian fashion calendar, the 3rd edition of Runway Ghana International Fashion Showcase has been slated for May 4th, 2019 and will come off inside the Marina Mall, Accra.

The 2019 edition is themed “Branding and empowerment of the modelling industry in Ghana (AKWAABA EDITION)”. The event is positioned to nominate a Ghanaian model as national tourism ambassador, and represent on international fashion events, as per our contract with Junda Morris-Kennedy, our partner in the United States of America.

Nana Ama Bosompemaa, CEO of Bold Trend Model Agency added, that preceding the main event, thee will be an educational workshop to enlighten all participant’s on the business opportunities in the fashion industry. The main event comprises of a collaborative catwalk and exhibition tilted towards the “Wear Ghana, Buy Ghana” campaign.

“The goal of RUNWAY GHANA is to bring all fashion stakeholders on one platform. Runway Ghana International has contributed immensely to Ghana’s fashion industry since its inception.We have built direct relationships between clothing companies, models, fashion designers and their customers locally and on the international front. We seek to keep connecting quality brands in the industry and supporting companies attain higher heights in terms of growth through sales and brand visibility.”

Runway International Showcase was birthed by American based fashion icon Junda Morris-Kennedy. Bold Trend Model Agency headed by Nana Ama Bosompemaa are franchise holders in Ghana and have successfully hosted the on two consecutive occasions, with the third edition coming off in May 2019.
