As it stands now the GT Bank Fashion Weekend is amongst one of the biggest fashion ceremonies in Nigeria and possibly in Africa. The event began some odd 3 years ago when GT Bank, sponsors to Lagos Fashion Week parted ways from the week long event.

They later emerged with their own fashion event which picked it’s dates close to their former partners and in the midst of the rivalry and controversy another major event was born in Nigeria with both events working to outdo the next, or as it seems.

This year GT Bank Fashion Weekend has done nothing but amaze it’s audience with a very large and attractive set up for both it’s exhibition and runway, hosting some of the most popular brands on their show.
