Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 519 The boss of an award-winning modelling agency offered to make a teenager famous if she had sex with him. Nicholas Kisirinya told shocked 19-year-old hopeful Lauren James his sleazy demand would send her “up the ladder”. Kisirinya, whose online agency attracts thousands of wannabe teen models a week, told her: “The first thing I will do after we sleep with each other is set up a shoot and get some nice photos of you. “Then I’ll make you priority for few castings this year. In this industry those who take that extra step get further.” But after sickened shop assistant Lauren contacted us, we launched an investigation which unmasks the truth about Kisrinya and exposes a disturbing side to the UK modelling industry. She chose 30-year-old Kisirinya’s Demus Casting agency on the internet for advice on how to break into the modelling industry. Lauren was impressed by the credentials of the company which won the 2012 Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts award for best talent spotting and model booking agency. It also boasts 25,500 followers on Twitter, 6,498 on Instagram. And Kisirinya claims to have landed clients roles in EastEnders and The Bill as well as other TV shows. Londoner Lauren said: “When I contacted this man I wanted advice on how to get my portfolio together and how much it would cost. “I don’t know much about the modelling industry but I know everyone needs a portfolio.” Lauren made contact over messaging service WhatsApp after sending snaps of herself. But the reply was not what she expected. She said: “Instead I was told if I wanted to get up the ladder I had to be prepared to do that bit extra to set me apart from other girls – and that was having sex. It’s sick.” Lauren rang the agency boss in the presence of our reporter to confirm what she had been told. He said: “I want to see you Saturday and I want to see what you’re about, and after that…” When Lauren asked him to elaborate he went on: “I already told you in the texts, I want to take you on and there are certain things I would do for you that would make you jump the ladder. “On the site you see there’s not that many (girls). I pick and choose them. They did the same process I’m telling you to go through.” When she asked if he had had sex with potential models, he stammered: “Er, ah, if you put it like that, the ones I see potential in, yeah. I never take money off you when you start to work for me. “Yeah there’s girls I’ve slept with on the website… that’s why they’re on the website. It has 20,000 to 30,000 people that visit it a week.” He went on to say he wanted to work with Lauren “hands on” adding: “I’m looking to set you up with a shoot, and these are things you pay for. I see potential in you. “I never use anyone. I’ve got over 2,000 models on my phone, but some of them just use the service. “But there’s using the service and then that extra, extra element that separates people on the site. “But you won’t see the big boy stuff on there. That’s for the girls I work tightly and closely with, for example like I want to do with you.” “By next week I’d have a shoot set up, get you nice photos done, then you go on the website. “You would be in perfect hands, I don’t intend to stop what I’m doing now just because I’m sleeping with you.” Kisirinya, who calls himself Demus, then explained what would happen if Lauren came to his house. He said: “It’ll be all right, we chill, talk and then gradually get into it naturally. And then after we talk about the shoots and go through a few outfits. It’s all good, man.” Lauren said: “He’s just preying on vulnerable girls. I want to warn girls thinking of joining his agency what he’s really like.” Kisirinya later told the Sunday Mirror he had not slept with any models on his website. He said: “Nope, it’s not true.” Source: The Mirror fashion outside africakisirinya demuslauren jameslondonmanagermodelmodelling agency Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail Ben I think fashion in Africa is about to explode and I am excited to be a part of it.
