Born on 18 July 1996 in Ha-Masia, Limpopo, Musida is a South African model and beauty pageant titleholder who gained international acclaim after being crowned Miss South Africa in 2020. Currently residing in Randburg, Gauteng, she holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pretoria and is pursuing a BA Honours in International Relations at the University of Witwatersrand.

Musida lives with her mother, Thandi Musida, a real estate agent, and her younger sister, Zwonka Musida, who is still in high school. As Miss South Africa, she represented her country in the Miss Universe 2021 pageant after winning the national title at The Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town on 24 October 2020.
