Multi Award winning fashion brand Sun Goddess brought her A-Game to the just-ended Spring Summer 2023, SA Fashion Week where African fashion was definitely on a role.
The Mall of Africa played host to fashionistas, celebrities, and invited guests who converged in Midrand last week, for the first glimpse of local designers’ latest ranges for South African Fashion Week’s (SAFW) Autumn/Winter 2023 collections.
During the three-day spectacle, the brand brought a variety of design elements, textures and tones on the catwalk that was true to South African culture, specifically that of the Zulus.
Sun Goddess is a heritage luxury fashion and lifestyle brand that designs retails exclusive South African clothing and accessories founded in 2001 and the idea was to harvest stories and images of South African traditions through fashion.
Their latest runway collection was heavily rooted in heritage stories that celebrate a regal Africa, one transcending time and fashion, with fashion as means of self-articulation.
