The brand is inspired by his nation’s traditions. The JEANNE collection is inspired by Benin’s traditional bombas. It was a cultural fashion style that was embraced by Benin during the time after independence until the end of the 19th century. It was worn by our parents as a 2-piece set but also with a 3rd piece which is the Agbada. The brand decided to take inspiration from this design, which was very popular at the time, to create a modern, timeless piece that a diversity of cultures and people can identify with.
