Saturday was a big surprise to us when we caught someone at the Accra Mall flaunting their new Cabas M’manfouè bag. In no less than two hours we get intouch on the phone to the designer Ange and updated her on the fabulous surprise.

 

But in minutes she informed us that she was actually sending stock by request to South Africa and would soon by in Morocco personally to deliver a number of the bags to a number of shops and clients.

Not so common to hear this as in Africa when a design catches popularity, it is easily duplicated just as most print bags are made via a relationship between tailors and clients. However it seems the brand style of the Cabas M’manfouè bag immediately caught the eye of clients without the interest of phony duplication.
