Whilst you were arguing with yourself if being on lock down and away from work is a wish you really wanted to come through, Nigerian actress/comedian/entrepreneur Funke Akindele Bello was jamming with bottles in the air to all your favourite Nigerian hit jams, yes Wizkid and Burna Boy included.

The ceremony was to celebrate her husbands JJC birthday and they had tonnes of guests as seen in the video below.

What seemed like it would have been a cool rebelious act that will garner them fun social media comments turn into severe public scrutiny with insults from various sectors of the Nigerian public. So bad that it forced the actress to get on her social media and serve the nation with a half apology (half apology is when one is not apologizing for what their responsibility in what they are being accused of, but apologizing for the end result of how it might have come across)

In the apology video, she explained her production company had a boot camp of trainees and several workers in their midst ahead of the government lock down. Many of those included lived outside of Lagos could not travel back when the announcement of the shut down was made, and since then they have already been packed together. Listen below.
