So as I am doing my usual rounds and research for fashion news in Africa, a video with the title “REVELATIONS MISS CI 2014 2015 FRAUDE CORRUPTION SEXE” pops up. Now I am not french speaking but I don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that title means Revelations of corruption and sex fraud in Miss Cote d’Ivoire 2015.

 

Yes it would be great to do some research and conclude the content of the video before posting, but with the speed at which the video is trending with over 11,000 views, and with the certified industry sector of Ivorians on my friendlist who are sharing it, I can not doubt the possibilities of truth in it’s content.

Did I forget to say that Miss Cote d’Ivoire also has a history of crowning girls that sleep with the manager and organizer? Last year after the crowning of Miss Cote d’Ivoire 2014, a lady took to the stage screaming (in french not in these exact words) I gave you myself and my daughter to sleep with and you still didn’t give us the crown.

Do you assume this is a lie? Watch the video below. If you still don’t believe it, then you might want to know that the manager admitted to sleeping with this woman in a TV interview. What is even more weird is after the win of Miss IC 2014, she began to throw finger signs that some theorist linked to the illuminati (not my field) but the signs sure was wierd. Especially following an TV interview where she claims she had no clue she did it. But don’t take my word for it, that video is also below.

So yes, all this included, I have no reason to doubt that there is some validity to whatever is being said in this video which I can’t comprehend. But it seems to have composed images and online messages between the queen and what might seem to be a sponsor, organizer or a judge. So for the french speakers amongst us feel free to call out if I am wrong. I’m just bringing you what is trending currently in Cote d’Ivoire.

So with all this said, when are pageants in Africa, and the world in general, just going to be pageants again?
