From watching the video above, there is no doubt, that Favour Lucky was the rightfully deserving winner, we look forward to her turning 15 where her contracted agency has promised more activity for her. To be honest, it’s great to see Nigeria stepping it’s game up on using real professional-looking models, this helps with the designers that hire them and the branding of fashion in Nigeria. The question is would other emerging fashion industries in other countries begin to step their modelling game up, or would they continue to use girls based on personal selection and the cheapest option. Time will tell.

Also before revealing the schedule for Fashion TV across Africa, here is a question I forgot to ask the organizer of Nigeria’s Next Super Model and leed booker of Isis Models, Joan. Being that it is managed under Isis Models, would this mean that there would be, trying to avoid the word Biased, but a platform limited to close affiliates and an exclusion of rival businesses that will provide a conflict of interest and personal foes.

We trust that with Joan’s professionalism in working in the Nigeria fashion industry this will not be the reality, but then again, time will tell.
