The Chale Wote (a Ghanaian term for flip flops) also reached out this year to much of Ghana’s blogging community and fashion world. A light of style, talent and joy, shone on a raw and gritty city James Town. Not so different from a carnival feel, there were many visitors for various reasons, plus the lovely children of James Town city who were more than glad their city was well acknowledged. If you are reading this early Sunday 8th September 2013, and you are based in Ghana, please be aware you can still attend as this is a two day event. Unfortunately we won’t be present, but like all double day events, the second is always much more amazing, so if you like what you see, get your Chale Wotes together and head off to James Town.
