A fashion show in Africa just hit a million views for the first time and more over it was a plus size show. Yes it is Accra Fashion Week as expected. The show was Nina Sharae’s Chilly Rainy show which took place exactly a year ago in Accra, Ghana at the Silver Star towers.

In many cases we see most of the latest and most commercial mainstream shows pull off millions of views easily, but it seems it a new day for Africa, with a genuine fashion show platform we are certain this will not be the last time we see a fashion show go viral on youtube in Africa.

The story behind the 2019 show follows an attempt of sabotage after the Alisa Hotel that promised to sponsor the fashion week in January purposely cancelled on the organisers 3 weeks before the event in attempt to extort money from them. The show was moved to an alternative location in a week prior and held a successful outdoor event. Watch Nina Sharae’s showcase below.
