A scary moment of wondering if a bigger crowd would turn up. However, right before the fashion show started, numbers began to increase. This was probably due to working hours and heavy Ghanaian traffic on a Friday. The goods at the exhibition was amazing. Designs that were very pleasing to the eye. The show started late, very late! So late it was unbelievable, although by now the world of Ghana is used to it and that’s a shame. Nevertheless, the show was good. The models were slightly a step up and more uniformed. I can’t say what impressed me more, designers of last year or that of this year. I’d say last year’s designs were fairly good across the board, what I witnessed yesterday had quite a number of mind blowing designers, but yet, a few designers that maybe should have been highlighted new comers. Nevertheless, most of what was on stage was surely of high quality. Overall, day 1 was beyond worth the while. Good atmosphere, good show, good crowd, better models. Looking forward to today’s show. For now, you can enjoy yesterday’s experience and watch Gloria Adablah, Akosh Tsibo Takyi, Ajepomaa and Tap designs.
