Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 5.2K [articletop] How many times have we seen videos of black American men locked up in prison for the wrong reasons and being freed later after 30+ years, whilst the judge and prosecutors of the same flawed criminal system celebrate with him as if they are heroes of the cause? The irony Well, this is what descendants of the violent settlers in Australia ‘might’ do. Before elaborating here is the back story… More Articles You Would Love Nigerian Accessory Label Urez Kulture Presents Her Hatinator Collection Bushai Weave, Sarauniya And More Set To Rock Nigeria’s Menswear Week! Get The First Peak Here History; White Settlers Vs. Original Australians The Aboriginal people of Australia (who should actually be called the Original People) are the Indigenous peoples of Australia. They are not one group but rather comprise hundreds of groups that have their own distinct set of languages, histories, and cultural traditions. They have been in Australia for over 70,000 years with harmonious civilizations and traditions until criminal and violent white people settlers arrived in 1606. After the whites settled, they will soon invade and slaughter to death their welcomers. It is estimated that massacres by white settlers resulted in the death of approximately 11% of the Aboriginal population between 1836 and 1851. This will soon continue until it was left with less than 5% of the Aboriginal people who were also driving out of the cities. Today, the descendants of these criminals do not recognize Aboriginals as part of their constitution. To elaborate on what this means, one can shoot, kill, beat, rape, hang, set on fire, feed to a wild animal, or enslave an Aboriginal, and will not have to suffer any legal consequence because the Aboriginals are not recognized within the constitution. Until the 1960s, Australia classified its Aboriginal population as animals under the Flora and Fauna Act The nation’s prime minister has finally brought this matter to the table in regard to their legal rights, which are really their human rights. Something the UN, America, the ICC, and all the other so-called human rights organizations have neglected. On a date to be set, Australians will be asked whether the nation’s Indigenous peoples, which now makes up 3.2% of the population, should be recognized in the Constitution. As highlighted on the website for the prime minister of Australia pm.gov.au “A Proposed Law: to alter the Constitution to recognize the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.” The referendum itself is slated to be set sometime between October and December this year. To pass, the referendum needs to win the majority of votes nationwide, and the majority of votes in the majority of states. Only eight of 44 referendums have ever been approved in Australia. A “yes” outcome is not guaranteed. Incarceration rates of Indigenous people remain persistently high, and advocates argue racist attitudes are embedded within society adding a further barrier to progress. “Today we take a big step forward on the long journey to constitutional recognition, through voice,” said Burney, a member of the Wiradjuri nation. “We believe that this is so just. We believe this will appeal to the fairness of the Australian people. And we believe that we have history on our side.” The press conference showed an emotional Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese take to the podium. “This moment has been a very long time in the making, yet they have shown such patience and optimism through this process. And that spirit of cooperation and thoughtful, respectful dialogue has been so important at arriving at this point in such a united fashion,” he said. A “yes” vote would recognize Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in the Constitution and create an Indigenous body to advise the Federal Parliament on policies and projects relating to Indigenous people. The lunacy to believe that such an act needs voting upon in itself is a joke. And that’s an update on Australia for you. On another note, not all the descendants of the wicked settlers are okay with this.
