After a great trilogy, there is no question that a sequel to the Bad Boys movie was on the way. Rap star and actor Will Smith who recently recovered from a storm of bad press and pr, is learning to let go of the things he can’t change and ensuring he doing what he can to satisfy his dedicated fans, and this is being him.

In a recent post on social media published on Tuesday morning, the actor was seen paying a visit to his partner Martin Lawrence at his residence where they made the announcement together for the upcoming sequel ‘BAD BOYS 4’, and as always it was made a great touch of humor and a caption that read “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!”.

On Tuesday morning, Smith and Lawrence announced that the upcoming movie was officially charging ahead by releasing a reunion video on social media with the caption, “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!”.

“Yo, I’ve got an announcement. Y’all better stop scrolling.” The actor said as he drove through in his car. As a little hint, Smith plays the opening bars of “Shake Ya Tailfeather,” Nelly, P. Diddy and Murphy Lee’s song from the 2003 “Bad Boys II” soundtrack. “I wish I was you, not knowing what I’m about to show me.”

Arriving at Lawrence’s door, the duo declare that the fourth film is officially on the way. “It’s about that time!” Lawrence yells.

It seems the fourth edition will return much sooner as the duet took a 17-year break between the second and third installments. Sony Pictures confirmed that the untitled sequel is in early pre-production with Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (“Ms. Marvel,” “Rebel”) returning to direct from a script by Chris Bremner.

Shortly after the threequel hit theaters, Sony announced that a fourth “Bad Boys” film was in development, and “Bad Boys for Life” went on to earn $426.5 million at the worldwide box office as one of the last pre-pandemic era blockbusters. The move for a fourth edition seems to be even more exciting but there is no release date as of yet.
