South African couple Nosipho Miya Leiva and Demetrius Sonny Leiva who got married this October, decided to take a daring and more African approach to their white wedding by adding Ankara print and color into the mix. And no it wasn’t the an African cultural wedding neither.

 

Nosipho’s wedding dress went viral because of the lovely print wrapper material she fitted on the bustier of the dress with a headwrap. She also wore an ankara head wrap and use the same ankara material on pieces of the outfits of her bridal train, as well as on her grooms suit, and for the brides maids. Could she be the start of a fashion revolution with weddings?
