I am sitting on the fence on how to review the second day as I uncertain how I feel about the event. On one side, I can say the event was good fashion week, and for most fashion events that take place in Ghana, it was spectacular. However, despite how beautiful the designs on the runway were, the organizer could have done a better job of selection designers that represent Ghanaian fashion and culture. To push forward a national titled fashion week without showcasing the national culture could be quite misleading. I do understand these events are not easy to put on, and therefore they have to be picky. But organizers will need to distinguish between their personal tastes and play a responsible role of forwarding Ghanaian culture further, which serves in the long purpose for Ghana.
