Share FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedinWhatsappTelegramEmail 15.7K In an evocative editorial shoot captured by Brazilian-based photographer Rafael Moura, three striking bald-headed women from different backgrounds came together in a fusion of beauty and strength. The shoot, held in the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro’s favelas, features Ildjima from Chad, Memu Conteh from Sierra Leone, and Sou Camilan from Brazil, all united in their shared energy and fluid connection. The black-and-white photos emphasize the raw, bold essence of each woman, amplifying their shaved heads and their powerful presence. Moura described the project as a personal exploration of connection, captioning it with the phrase, “ENERGY DOESN’T LIE.” The collaboration between these three women feels as though they’ve known each other from another lifetime, showcasing a natural and unmatched synergy. This editorial is the first installment in Moura’s ongoing project, celebrating diversity, strength, and the unspoken bonds that unite women across borders.
