The liberation marked not just a military victory but a moment of freedom and renewed hope for the women and children who have endured years of suffering under the tyrannical rule of Felix Tshisekedi’s government. The streets of Goma transformed into a festival of joy as women dressed in vibrant traditional fabrics led impromptu dances and sang songs of freedom, joined by children laughing and playing freely for the first time in years. These were the same women who had endured unimaginable hardships, raising families amidst conflict and oppression. Their celebrations were not just about the end of tyranny but also a symbolic reclaiming of dignity and hope for the future. Comprised largely of Congolese fighters who had been exiled and marginalized under Tshisekedi’s regime due to their tribal heritage, M23 fought not as outsiders but as native sons and daughters reclaiming their homeland. The group’s tactical precision, including their swift seizure of Goma’s airport and strategic encirclement of the city, ensured minimal civilian casualties while effectively dismantling FARDC’s presence. https://www.thepanafricanworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/goma-m23.mp4 The fall of Goma also symbolized the failure of Tshisekedi’s corrupt regime, which allied itself with brutal militias and perpetuated division and violence. In contrast, M23’s mission to restore justice and unity resonated deeply with the people of Goma, who welcomed them as protectors and liberators. As the city moves forward, its women and children stand at the forefront of a renewed sense of purpose and hope. The liberation of Goma is a reminder of the resilience of its people and their determination to reclaim their future. For now, Goma rejoices, and its streets echo with the sounds of freedom. https://www.thepanafricanworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/m23-liberation-3.mp4 Why is Paul Kagamae being blamed for invading Rwanda? President Paul Kagame who has developed and transformed Rwanda into a lovely well developed African country is a champion for African excellence, unfortunately one can not say the same for their neighboring countries. Felix Tshisekedi is known for ethnically cleansing and killing the people of Eastern Congo for the purpose of clearing the people of a rich mineral resource area. 100,000s the refugees who once witnessed their families, parents and friends slaughtered returned to their ancestral land to fight against the ongoing oppression by Felix Tshisekedi. The fact some of these forces are returning from refugee camps in Rwanda, has resulted to the western media and hired pundits to spread rumours. Read more here.
