Yemi Alade (@yemialadee) Set To Perform At FIMA 2015 In Niger

FIMA a bi annual fashion event and the only successful event to date to take place in Niger will be graced by the presence of Yemi Alade. The Look for Johnny, Nigerian superstar who was in Niger not long ago proved a major success as she pulled the whole country together.

The event founded by designer Alphadi sees models and designers from all over west Africa including Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon and more, as well as foreign participants, showcase on a runway set up over a desert like land.

Many of the national diplomats from the government including the first lady are usually present. last year, even the first lady of Burkina Faso was present (who is no longer the first lady since the revolution)..

Although there is not much of a fashion market in Niger, the media attendance from around the world is a fabulous one and great exposure for the participating designers. Click here to see full details about the event.
